Biography
Jeffrey Ross Lifschultz is an American stand-up comedian, actor, director, and producer known for his work in insult comedy. He has earned the nickname "Roastmaster General" for his frequent appearances at celebrity roasts, including those held by the New York Friars Club, the Comedy Central Roast television series, and the Netflix series Historical Roasts. In 2009, the Chicago Tribune compared him to Don Rickles, dubbing him "the new millennium Don Rickles." Ross made his directorial debut with the 2006 documentary *Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie*, which won the Best Film award at the Comedia film festival during the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.
