Pokémon Snap is a 1999 photography video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. As a spin-off in the Pokémon series, it is one of the first console-based titles in the franchise and features many Pokémon rendered in real-time 3D for the first time. The game was initially released in Japan in March 1999, followed by North America in July 1999 and PAL regions in September 2000. Pokémon Snap was later re-released on the Wii's Virtual Console in December 2007, the Wii U's Virtual Console in 2016, and the Nintendo Classics service in June 2022.
