Will Champion

William Champion is an English musician and songwriter, known as the drummer and percussionist for the rock band Coldplay. Born and raised in Southampton, he developed an interest in music at a young age and learned to play multiple instruments. Influenced by artists such as Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and traditional Irish folk music, Champion's drumming style is marked by its energy and emphasis on the core elements of each song. While primarily a drummer, he occasionally performs lead vocals during live shows.
