Hearthstone's next expansion, Escape from Violet Hold, will launch on July 7, 2026. The expansion introduces new mechanics that break traditional game rules, including duplicate Legendaries, sneaking minions onto opponents' boards, and drawing extra cards each turn. The story follows Vanessa VanCleef, daughter of Edwin VanCleef, as she assembles a team of outlaws to break out of Dalaran's maximum-security prison.
