Biography
Unshō Ishizuka was a Japanese actor, voice actor, narrator, and theatre director from Katsuyama, Fukui. He was affiliated with Aoni Production and is best known for his work in the Pokémon anime series, where he provided the voice for the narrator and Professor Oak (Dr. Yukinari Okido) in the Japanese version. Ishizuka also voiced several Pokémon, including Onix and Steelix, in both the Japanese and English-language versions of the series. His contributions to the Pokémon franchise made him a well-recognized figure in anime and voice acting circles.
