Tim Franklin

Tim Franklin is an Australian actor known for his role as Colby Thorne in the television soap opera *Home and Away*. Franklin first appeared in the series in 2015 in a guest role as Azza Mason, but Colby marked his first full-time television role. He learned of his casting on his 27th birthday and began filming in August 2017. Colby Thorne made his on-screen debut in the episode broadcast on 6 February 2018. The character was introduced as a replacement for Kat Chapman, following her death in the previous season's finale. His arrival was highlighted in a trailer previewing the 2018 storylines.
