Takayuki Yamada

Takayuki Yamada is a Japanese actor, singer and producer who has performed in film and television. He received recognition for playing Sakutaro Matsumoto in the TV drama *Socrates in Love* and for portraying Densha Otoko in the 2005 film of that title. Yamada later gained wider fame through his role as Tamao Serizawa in the *Crows Zero* film series. Japanese media often refer to him as a “chameleon actor” because of his versatility, noting the breadth of his acting range throughout his career. In addition to acting, he has worked as a producer, co‑creating the live‑action web series *Saint Young Men*. In 2018 he became the lead singer of the band The XXXXXX, adding music to his entertainment activities.
