    Biography

    Kasseem Daoud Dean, known professionally as Swizz Beatz, is an American record producer, rapper, and DJ from the Bronx, New York City. He began his career in 1994 as a DJ and gained industry recognition at age 18 through his family's record label, Ruff Ryders Entertainment. He became closely associated with rapper DMX, serving as his hype man, DJ, and producer. Through this collaboration, Dean rose to prominence in East Coast hip-hop.
