    Biography

    Seán MacBride was an Irish Republican activist, politician, and diplomat. He held the position of Minister for External Affairs from 1948 to 1951 and served as Chief of Staff of the IRA from 1936 to 1937. MacBride was also the leader of Clann na Poblachta from 1946 to 1965 and a Teachta Dála (TD) from 1947 to 1957. His career reflected his deep involvement in Irish politics and his commitment to the Republican cause.
