    Biography

    Ryōtarō Okiayu is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer affiliated with Aoni Production. He is known for his major roles in anime such as Byakuya Kuchiki in *Bleach*, Treize Khushrenada in *Mobile Suit Gundam Wing*, Hisashi Mitsui in *Slam Dunk*, and Alucard in *Castlevania*. Okiayu has also provided voices for characters in *Mega Man X*, *The Prince of Tennis*, *Hell Teacher Nūbē*, and *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba*. As a singer, he was a member of the entertainment music unit from 1995 to 2000. Okiayu is married to voice actress Ai Maeda and has an older sister who is an animator. He is also the official Japanese voice for actors such as Scott Foley, Taylor Kitsch, Lin Gengxin, and Stephen Fung.
