Ryan Phillips

Ryan Phillips is a former professional Canadian football defensive back who played most of his career with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). A key contributor to two Grey Cup championship teams, he was the last active Lions player from the 2006 roster that won the 2006 Grey Cup. Phillips is known for his durability, having missed only four games over his 12-year career, including a streak of 181 consecutive games played. He earned five western all-star selections and four league all-star honors. Phillips also played for the Montreal Alouettes in 2017. A 2006 graduate of Eastern Washington University, he played college football for the Eastern Washington Eagles. After retiring as a player, Phillips transitioned into coaching, serving as the secondary coach and pass game coordinator for the BC Lions.
