Ronald D. Moore is an American screenwriter and television producer known for his work on science fiction and historical dramas. He gained prominence for his contributions to the Star Trek franchise and for reimagining the Battlestar Galactica series, which earned him a Peabody Award. Moore also developed *Outlander*, a television adaptation of Diana Gabaldon's novel series. In 2019, he created and wrote *For All Mankind*, a speculative historical drama set in an alternate timeline for Apple TV+.
