Milton Teagle “Richard” Simmons was a semi‑retired American fitness instructor, actor and video producer who was known for an eccentric, flamboyant and energetic personality. He promoted weight‑loss programs, most prominently through his Sweatin’ to the Oldies line of aerobics videos.
