Richard Herd

Richard Thomas Herd Jr. was an American actor known for his extensive work in television and occasional film roles from the 1970s to the 2010s. He gained particular recognition in the science fiction community for his portrayal of John, the Visitors' Supreme Commander, in the 1983 NBC miniseries *V* and its 1984 sequel *V: The Final Battle*. Herd also appeared in recurring roles on *seaQuest DSV* as Admiral William Noyce and on *Star Trek: Voyager* as Admiral Owen Paris. He made guest appearances on *Quantum Leap* and voiced Father Elijah in the *Dead Money* expansion for *Fallout: New Vegas*.
