Philip Harvey

Philip Harvey was an American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and libertarian known for his work in family planning and HIV/AIDS prevention. He founded and led DKT International, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit that implemented programs in 57 countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Through DKT, he provided subsidized contraceptives to underserved populations and supported public health initiatives. Harvey also sponsored the DKT Liberty Project, which focused on free speech advocacy in the U.S. In addition, he was president of Adam & Eve, a North Carolina-based company specializing in sex toys, adult films, and condoms. His dual roles in public health and the adult industry earned him recognition as a significant figure in the American sex industry.
