    Biography

    Minami Takahashi is a Japanese television personality and singer, best known for her role as the first General Director of the idol girl group AKB48 and its network of sister groups. She is widely recognized by her nickname, Takamina, and has been an influential figure in the Japanese idol scene. In addition to her leadership role in AKB48, she is a member of the subgroup no3b, formed with fellow AKB48 graduates Minami Minegishi and Haruna Kojima. All three are currently affiliated with Mama&Son Inc.
