Maaya Sakamoto

Maaya Sakamoto is a Japanese actress and singer known for her work in voice acting. She made her debut in 1992 as the voice of Chifuru in the anime *Little Twins*. Sakamoto gained wider recognition for her role as Hitomi Kanzaki in *The Vision of Escaflowne*. Over her career, she has voiced numerous notable characters in anime, including Leila Malcal in *Code Geass: Akito the Exiled*, Jeanne d'Arc in *Fate/Apocrypha*, Shiki Ryōgi in *The Garden of Sinners*, and Eto in *Tokyo Ghoul*. She has also provided voices for characters in *Nightwalker: The Midnight Detective*, *Risky Safety*, *Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle*, *Ouran High School Host Club*, *Birdy the Mighty*, *Black Butler*, *Monogatari*, *Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny*, *The Seven Deadly Sins*, *Ghost in the Shell: Arise*, *Sword Art Online*, and *Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World*.
