Biography
Lana Wachowski is a writer known for *The Matrix*. Lana Wachowski and her sister Lilly Wachowski, collectively known as the Wachowskis, are the creative team behind groundbreaking films such as *The Matrix* (1999) and *Cloud Atlas* (2012). Born to mother Lynne, a nurse, and father Ron, a businessman of Polish descent, Lana grew up in Chicago and developed a close creative partnership with her sister Lilly. After both siblings left college, they began their careers in filmmaking.
