Biography
Kim Walker was known for her supporting roles and was an up-and-coming young actress in Hollywood before retiring from the business in the late 1990s. As a teenager, she appeared in guest roles on series such as *Matlock* (1986) and *Highway to Heaven* (1984) before moving on to supporting roles in feature films like *Say Anything...* (1989) and several made-for-television films. She is best remembered for her role as Heather Chandler in the cult-classic film *Heathers* (1988), which marked Winona Ryder's first starring role. In the film, Walker portrayed what may be considered one of the nastiest and most difficult teenagers in film history, earning her acclaim and a following due to her memorable lines and on-screen presence in the black comedy about high school life. Lines such as "You're such a pillowcase!" and "Did you eat a brain tumor for breakfast?" made her a scene-stealer in the first half of the film. Although later roles did not reach the same level of recognition as *Heathers*, Walker continued to take on supporting roles throughout her acting career.
