    Biography

    Kenji Oyama is a Japanese former professional baseball catcher who played in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He began his career with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in 2008 before moving to the Chunichi Dragons, where he played from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, Oyama joined the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, remaining with the team through 2015. Known for his defensive skills and leadership behind the plate, Oyama's career spanned several prominent teams in Japanese baseball.
