Jensen Ross Ackles (born March 1, 1978) is a European-American actor, producer, director, and singer. He is best known for his role as Dean Winchester on the CW television series *Supernatural*. Other notable roles include Soldier Boy in the Amazon Prime original series *The Boys*, Eric Brady in *Days of Our Lives*, for which he received multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations, Alec/X5-494 in *Dark Angel*, and Jason Teague in *Smallville*.
