Biography

Héctor Elizondo (born December 22, 1936) is an American actor. Before entering the entertainment industry, he excelled in sports and considered a career in education. His first major role was portraying "God" in a play for which he received an Obie Award. Elizondo has since appeared in over eighty films and made numerous television appearances, including an Emmy Award-winning performance on the series *Chicago Hope*.
