    Biography

    Harold Perrineau is an American actor known for his roles in various films. His breakout performance came with the independent film *Smoke*, released in 1995, which earned him a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male. Perrineau then appeared as Mercutio in *Romeo+Juliet*, a modern adaptation of Shakespeare's classic, and later played the role of Link in *The Matrix Reloaded* and its sequel, *The Matrix Revolutions*.
