Geoff Johns

Geoff Johns is an American comic book writer, screenwriter, and producer known for his work with DC Comics. He has received critical acclaim for his contributions to characters including Green Lantern, Aquaman, The Flash, and Superman. Johns has written several major DC Comics storylines, such as *Sinestro Corps War*, *Blackest Night*, *Infinite Crisis*, *Throne of Atlantis*, *Flashpoint*, *Doomsday Clock*, *Superman: Last Son*, and *Superman: Brainiac*. He is also recognized for expanding the Green Lantern mythology by introducing new concepts and co-creating characters such as the Sinestro Corps, the Indigo Tribe, the Red Lantern Corps, and the Black Lantern Corps.

In addition to his work on established characters, Johns co-created the DC character Courtney Whitmore, inspired by his deceased sister.
