Biography
The Shoukri brothers were a pair of Northern Irish loyalist paramilitaries. Andre Khalef Shoukri, born in 1977 to a Coptic Christian Egyptian father and a Northern Irish mother, was alleged to have led the Ulster Defence Association (UDA) in north Belfast. He was sentenced to two years in prison in July 2003 for unlawful possession of a firearm and received a nine-year sentence in 2007 for various crimes. His older brother, Ihab Shoukri, died in 2008.
