Eddie Kendricks

Eddie Kendricks was an American tenor singer and songwriter recognized for his distinctive falsetto voice. He co-founded the Motown group the Temptations and was one of their lead vocalists from 1961 to 1971. Kendricks performed lead vocals on several of the group's hits, including "The Way You Do the Things You Do," "Get Ready," and "Just My Imagination." Following his departure from the Temptations, he launched a successful solo career in the 1970s, achieving chart success with "Keep On Truckin'," which reached number one, and "Boogie Down," which peaked at number two.
