Chris Sanders

Christopher Michael Sanders is an American filmmaker, animator, and voice actor known for his work in animation. He co-wrote and directed *Lilo & Stitch* (2002) and *How to Train Your Dragon* (2010) with Dean DeBlois, and *The Croods* (2013) with Kirk DeMicco. He also directed *The Wild Robot* (2024), with all four films receiving Academy Award for Best Animated Feature nominations. Sanders created the popular Disney character Stitch in 1985, wrote the film's story, and voiced the character in most of his media appearances. In 2020, he made his live-action directorial debut with the adventure-drama *The Call of the Wild*.
