    Biography

    Catherine Thomas is a Welsh politician who served as a Labour Welsh Assembly Member for the constituency of Llanelli. She was first elected in the 2003 Assembly election, narrowly defeating Helen Mary Jones of Plaid Cymru with a majority of 21. However, in the 2007 election, Jones won back the seat, unseating Thomas.
