Brian Jackson

As a technology leader in the Advanced Development Group at Lucasfilm, I have spent the past 25 years working across various technology sectors, including media, finance, web, games, and visual effects. My career has included roles within The Walt Disney Company at Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic, ESPN, and Disney Parks, as well as experiences outside of Disney, such as founding the deployment pipeline for ApplePay and developing fintech solutions at UBS Investment Bank.

During my time at Lucasfilm, my team has supported the delivery of virtual reality experiences such as *Vader Immortal* and *Tales from the Galaxy's Edge*, theme park attractions like *Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run*, and the production of *The Mandalorian*, using the virtual production technology ILM StageCraft. Outside of work, I apply DevOps principles to personal projects, including home automation and networking systems. My focus remains on innovation and shaping the future of immersive entertainment.
