Blu Mankuma

Born in Seattle, Washington, Mankuma made Vancouver his home during the turbulent years of the Vietnam War. Standing six feet tall and weighing 230 pounds, the actor brought an easy grace to film despite his commanding presence, quickly gaining recognition among producers and directors. He built an extensive resume across film, television, and theatre, becoming one of Canada's busiest actors. Blu Mankuma is also an avid musician, singer, and songwriter, and has provided voiceovers for radio as well as appearing in numerous television commercials. He and his family, including sons Rene and Cusee, live in Vancouver.
