    William Scott Goldberg, often known mononymously as Goldberg, is an American retired professional wrestler and football player. He is best known for his tenures in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In wrestling, Goldberg became a prominent figure known for his intense in-ring style and dominance in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Prior to his wrestling career, he played college football and briefly pursued a professional football career.
