Anthony Lewis

Anthony Lewis is an English actor who began his career at the age of nine, appearing in popular television shows such as *Heartbeat*, *A Touch of Frost*, and *Cracker*, as well as a role alongside Brenda Blethyn and Julie Walters in the feature film *Girls' Night*, written by Kay Mellor. He played Scott Morris in *Children's Ward* over three series and Adam in *Adam's Family Tree* over two series. He also starred in the British Comedy Award-winning show *My Dad's a Boring Nerd*. These performances led to a full-time role on the popular soap *Emmerdale*, where he portrayed Marc Reynolds for four years.

After leaving *Emmerdale*, Lewis took on a challenging role in *Broken Voices* at the Tristan Bates Theatre in London's West End. Further television roles followed in *Dalziel and Pascoe* and *Respectable*, before he appeared as Steve in the multi-award-winning film *Boy A*. He then played the lead role of Tommy Brockless in the popular sci-fi series *Torchwood*, portraying a young World War I soldier tasked with saving the Universe. Lewis also appeared in the film version of *A Passionate Woman* and the football comedy *Everything But The Ball*. In his spare time, he has performed for several years in the band 'The Good Die Young', regularly touring the country.

Lewis appeared as Peter Davies in the BBC Television series *The Syndicate* alongside his brother Matthew Lewis, Joanna Page, and Timothy Spall. He also performed as Mark in *A Passionate Woman* at Hull Truck Theatre alongside Kay Mellor, Stuart Manning, and Andrew Dunn, with the show touring as a co-production between The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich, and Oldham Coliseum. He recently toured the U.K. as Lomper in the Number 1 tour of *The Full Monty*.

He can occasionally be heard as a Continuity Announcer for BBC Television. Anthony also founded IGUN Pictures as a platform for developing shorts, music videos, and feature films, working as a Writer, Director, and Producer.
