    Biography

    Amy Warren was an Irish marine biologist and conchologist known for her detailed work on molluscs. She published the first annotated list and catalogues of land, freshwater, and marine molluscs in County Mayo and County Sligo. Her contributions to the field were significant, and she is regarded as one of the most important donors to the National Museum of Ireland Natural History. Alongside her brother Robert Warren, she donated over 400 specimens to the museum's Irish and British shell collection.
