The Pokémon Trading Card Game has announced a new 30th-anniversary set, set to release on Sept. 16. The collection introduces a new rarity type called Futuristic rare, featuring vibrant artwork by renowned artist YOSHIROTTEN. The set will include six special holofoil cards, with fan favorites like Mew and Mewtwo among them. Each booster pack will contain one of 30 unique Pikachu variants, each illustrated by a different artist. The set also brings back classic Pokémon cards with a foil treatment, including a sparkly gold Charizard. With high demand expected, collectors are warned to prepare for reseller activity and potential sellouts.
