DreamWorks' Shrek and friends have been added to the mobile game FIFA Heroes as part of a new season‑pass launch. Players can now field Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots, Gingy, Pinocchio and Lord Farquaad on the virtual pitch, creating whimsical moments such as the ogre crossing to Messi before a finish by Puss. The crossover content is time‑limited and will be removed from the game after August 10. FIFA Heroes debuted on June 24, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the original Shrek film, while the movie franchise continues toward a planned Shrek 5 release in June 2027.
