Demons' Night Fever
Demons' Night Fever, a new strategy RPG from Disgaea's long-time producer Sohei Niikawa, introduces a fresh gameplay loop centered around managing Peons and performing Misdeeds. The game blends familiar Nippon Ichi Software elements with new mechanics, such as siphoning health from Peons and sacrificing them for strategic advantages. While it shares some visual and narrative similarities with Disgaea, the gameplay is distinct, focusing on resource management and timed objectives. The hands-on experience highlights an engaging system that requires balancing upgrades and deadlines. The game is a collaboration between Drecom Co. and Niikawa's SuperNiche, and it marks Niikawa's first project as a freelance developer.
